When you work with me, you can expect someone who is genuinely invested in you having the best day possible - not just great photos.
I’m pretty chill by nature, but I’m also not afraid to get stuck in when needed. Whether that’s quietly helping things run smoothly, stepping in to lend a hand, or adapting when plans change, I’m very comfortable going with the flow of the day.
Most of the time, I work quietly in the background. I do this intentionally, because it allows moments to unfold naturally without interruption. That said, I know when it’s helpful to step in and offer a bit of guidance, and when it’s better to step back.
I know being in front of the camera doesn’t come naturally to everyone, it certainly doesn’t for most people. My job is to help you feel comfortable and at ease, so you can focus on enjoying your day while I take care of the rest.

Planning a wedding raises a lot of questions and I want you to feel confident and informed. Below are the questions couples ask most often about wedding photography, how my packages work, how we work together on the day, and what you can expect before, during, and after your wedding.

01. how do we secure our date?
Once I’ve confirmed that your wedding date is available, I’ll send over your contract to review and sign, along with details to pay the £350 booking deposit. The remaining balance is due six weeks before the big day.
Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, that’s it — your date is officially secured.
02. is travel included?
Yes — travel is included within the UK for both full day and half day packages.
For weddings outside the UK, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to provide a bespoke quote.
03. How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?
Although my photography style is natural and documentary-led, group photos are still an important part of the day. Around 8 weeks before your wedding, I’ll ask you to share a list of the group photos you’d like so we can stay organised and move through them efficiently. That way, we get everything covered without taking you away from enjoying your day.
04. Do you offer engagement sessions?
I do — and I really encourage my couples to book one if they can. It’s such a lovely chance for us to spend a bit of time together before the wedding, and it helps you feel much more relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera on the day itself.
Engagement sessions are available Monday to Friday and take place within Derbyshire and the East Midlands.
05. HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE GET?
Every wedding is unique! However, for a full day with 80+ guests, you will get a minimum of 500 high-res edited images of the day. This will be delivered via a beautiful and user-friendly online gallery which is very easy to download from and share with family and friends.

07. what happens if you can't shoot our wedding?
I completely understand any concerns, and I have a robust backup plan in place. I’m part of a trusted network of professional wedding photographers who could step in at short notice if ever needed. In the unlikely event that this happened, one of my photographer peers would photograph your day, and I would take care of the editing and delivery of your images as normal.
This is an absolute worst-case scenario, but my priority would be to make the process as seamless and stress-free for you as possible.

08. Do you backup the images? And do you have insurance?
Yes — your images are fully backed up, and I am fully insured.
I shoot with dual card slots in each camera, meaning your images are recorded to two cards simultaneously in case one were ever to fail. After the wedding, all RAW files are backed up in three separate locations, including secure cloud storage, until your gallery has been delivered.
I also hold both professional indemnity and public liability insurance. If your venue requires copies of my insurance documents, I’m very happy to provide these on request.
